Topic reporting

Topic reporting

How to track and analyze topics within your libraries.

🔔 Note: this feature is only available on enterprise plans.

Exploring topics in your library

After creating and syncing a library with a Google Search Console account, click “Topic Explorer” in the sidebar to start analyzing topics. Type in a search term like “raspberry pie” to see:

  1. Related keywords that you’re ranking for in Google Search Console.
  2. Related keywords that you’re not ranking for yet (with estimated competition and monthly volume data).
  3. Pages related to this topic, based on our intelligent calculations.

From here, you can use the checkboxes in the left hand column to select and export groups of keywords or pages as needed.

Saving topics

When you have a topic that you want to analyze further, go to “Topic Reports” in the sidebar and click “new topic”.

From here, give your topic a name and pick a keyword (or multiple keywords if you are looking to cover abbreviated variations like “SEO” and “Search Engine Optimization”).

After clicking “Save”, you can click on the newly created topic to see a dashboard report, including:

  • Your month-over-month performance for that topic (clicks and search impressions).
  • Your top performing keywords for that topic.
  • Your top performing pages for that topic.
